Aesthetic correction and restoration of bite function
Correcting the aesthetics of the smile while restoring the patient's bite function was possible thanks to the multi-specialist cooperation of our team.
Initially, the missing teeth in the lateral sections were restored implants. In parallel, some teeth were subjected to revision endodontic treatment, to eliminate existing inflammation. The next step was application of the rail, as a preparation for the reconstruction of the occlusal height. In the final stage, the implants were placed on the zirconia and ceramic crowns, while the aesthetics of the front section were complemented by a bonding.
Due to the unsatisfactory shade of the enamel, the patient opted for a whitening with the Beyond lamp. The technology uses an advanced light filtration system that eliminates harmful UV and infrared radiation.
As a result, the procedure is completely safe and comfortable. After only about 60 minutes in the dental chair, a clear brightening effect was achieved, restoring a healthy appearance to the teeth.
The change in smile aesthetics was carried out immediately after the removal of the fixed braces.
First, the surface of the glaze was cleaned of adhesive residue, and then the gingivoplasty. This treatment consisted of correcting the height of the gingiva over the lateral incisor so that its length corresponded to the size of the unicuspid tooth on the left side.
Finally, the method bonding, the shape of the lateral incisors and canines has also been modified.
Aesthetic correction of white demineralisation spots on smooth tooth surfaces was performed. Importantly, the procedure was performed without drilling, only by infiltrating the enamel with liquid resin (ICON).
It is worth noting that the visible decalcification was the result of inadequate hygiene during previous fixed braces treatment.
Orthodontic treatment of the complex malocclusion was carried out using a fixed metal braces. Excessively leaning upper incisal teeth required uprighting to achieve a correct and aesthetic display in the smile.
The shape of the dental arches was also corrected, existing spaces were closed and, ultimately, stable occlusal contacts were achieved between the maxilla and mandible.
After the orthodontic treatment was completed, the whitening, and then bonding in a light shade, chosen by the patient.

Through the use of precision brackets and orthodontic arches, it was possible to move the teeth into their correct positions in a gradual and controlled manner. As a result, this smile makeover was completed with full alignment, correct bite contact and an aesthetically pleasing smile line.

This comprehensive smile makeover is an example of hybrid treatment. The basis of the treatment was an overlay system Invisalign in the Moderate variant, which allowed the teeth to be effectively and precisely sequenced.
Once the active displacement and occlusal stabilisation phase was completed, the procedure was proceeded with whitening. The use of the Beyond lamp allowed the enamel to be lightened quickly and safely. The treatment resulted in a perfect synergy - perfectly straight teeth with a light shade.
We began the metamorphosis of our patient's smile by treating her malocclusion with a fixed metal braces. The next stage was a procedure in-office whitening with the Beyond system.
The problem in our patient was an abrasion of the incisal edge of the left upper primary and the smaller size of the left bicuspid in relation to the unicuspid tooth on the opposite side. Bonding of these two teeth, one and two, allowed perfect symmetry and aesthetics of the anterior teeth to be achieved.
