The Invisalign system is primarily a modern approach to orthodontic treatment, which we use at our clinic in Warsaw. This method uses a set of individually designed transparent aligners, which the patient changes regularly. With this solution, treatment is much more comfortable than with traditional methods.

Importantly, each successive Invisalign tray is precisely adjusted to gradually and controllably move the teeth into their target position. This happens according to a digitally prepared treatment plan.

Key features of Invisalign treatment:

  • Discretion: The aligners are almost invisible, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing appearance throughout the treatment period.

  • Convenience: Invisalign braces are removable, which in turn facilitates daily eating and oral hygiene (brushing the teeth and cleaning the trays).

  • Comfort: The absence of metal elements (brackets, wires) minimises the risk of irritation and thus increases wearing comfort.

Who is Invisalign treatment for?

Invisalign orthodontic aligners are effective in treating a variety of malocclusions, both in adults and adolescents.

The most commonly treated problems include:

  • Tooth crowding (when the teeth grow on top of each other, there is not enough space for them in the arch).
  • Gaps between teeth.
  • Crossbite (when the upper teeth overlap the lower teeth from the inside).
  • Deep bite (when the upper teeth excessively cover the lower teeth).
  • Open bite (when a gap develops between the upper and lower teeth).

What does Invisalign treatment look like at our clinic in Warsaw?

  1. Consultation and 3D Diagnostics: At the very beginning, there is a detailed consultation and a precise intraoral 3D scan. We use a state-of-the-art CS 8200 3D tomograph for this purpose.

  2. Digital Treatment Plan: We then create a virtual, three-dimensional treatment plan based on the scan. This allows you to see a simulation of tooth movement and the end result even before treatment begins.

  3. Receipt of first aligners: In the next stage, you will receive your first individually fitted set of Invisalign trays, along with instruction. You will then learn how to wear them and take care of your hygiene.

  4. Treatment process and follow-up visits: This stage consists of wearing Invisalign aligners (approximately 22 hours a day) and regular follow-up visits to our clinic.

  5. Retention (Maintenance of effects): Finally, once active treatment is completed, retention follows. This means taking care to stabilise and maintain the effects.

What is the cost of Invisalign treatment in Warsaw?

The cost of the first orthodontic consultation is PLN 280. However, the cost of the actual treatment with the Invisalign system is determined individually for each patient. This is due to the fact that the price depends directly on the complexity of the malocclusion and the selected plan (e.g. Invisalign Lite for smaller corrections, Invisalign Full for full treatment). Approximate prices can be found in our price list, however, a precise total cost estimate is presented by the orthodontist after consultation and approval of the digital treatment plan.

How long does Invisalign treatment last?

Treatment time is an individual matter, depending on the type and complexity of the malocclusion. For simple aesthetic corrections, treatment may take up to 6-9 months. More complex defects, on the other hand, may require a longer period of time, such as 18-24 months.

What are the main advantages of Invisalign over fixed braces?

The main features that distinguish the Invisalign system are, first and foremost, discretion, as the transparent trays are almost invisible. Moreover, this translates into high wearing comfort - the absence of metal brackets minimises the risk of irritation. Another important advantage is the ease of hygiene. Thanks to the fact that the braces are removable, you can brush your teeth freely. In addition, the patient does not have to give up hard foods, as he or she removes the trays to eat.

How long during the day do I have to wear aligners?

This is a key element in the effectiveness of the treatment. In order for it to proceed as planned, Invisalign trays must be worn for a minimum of 20-22 hours a day. This means that they are only removed for meals and hot or staining drinks. In addition, they should be removed for brushing teeth.

How often do you have follow-up appointments with Invisalign at our clinic in Warsaw?

The frequency of visits depends on the stage of treatment. However, visits are usually less frequent with overlay treatment than with fixed braces. As a rule, patients visit our clinic approximately every 8-12 weeks to collect the next set of overlays and check progress.

Is Invisalign treatment right for me?

The Invisalign system allows a wide range of malocclusions to be treated - from minor crowding to more complex cases. Nevertheless, the final qualification for treatment is always carried out by a certified orthodontist. This is because the decision must be made on the basis of a detailed diagnosis and assessment of the conditions in the mouth.
