Education and Academic Career
Dr Ewa Prażmo brings nearly 20 years of professional experience to her practice. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (lekarz dentysta) degree in 2008 from the Medical University of Warsaw (WUM). Her path towards orthodontics began during her studies, when she developed her practical skills at the Orto-Fan Clinic, working alongside a renowned and pioneering orthodontic team.
Her first specialist training in orthodontics took place during her postgraduate internship under Professor David Suarez Quintanilla and Professor Tiziano Baccetti. In 2013, she began her doctoral studies at the Medical University of Warsaw, where she conducted research into the use of laser radiation in dental treatment — work that led to numerous presentations at international conferences and symposia.
Her publications in the prestigious American scientific journal Lasers in Medical Science earned her the Rector's Award of the Medical University of Warsaw. She defended her doctoral dissertation with distinction, obtaining the degree of PhD in Medical Sciences. In parallel, from 2013 to 2018, she served as a lecturer at the Medical University of Warsaw.
Clinical Experience and Professional Development
In the next stage of her professional development, she completed her specialisation training in orthodontics and obtained the title of specialist. She has been practising dentistry for almost 15 years in clinics and centres in Warsaw. She serves as Medical Director and co-owner of the Modern Dental & Orthodontics Clinic.
As a member of the Polish Orthodontic Society, she is continuously expanding her knowledge by participating in both Polish and international training courses.
In 2021, she completed the Mirabella Orthodontic Program, a prestigious training series in Poland and Italy. In addition, she has attended courses taught by world authorities such as Prof. R. Nanda, Prof. J. McNamara and Dr. R. McLaughlin.
Modern Treatment Methods
For many years, her passion has been not only restoring beautiful smiles, but also helping patients maintain healthy teeth. That's why she draws on a wide range of orthodontic techniques, carefully tailored to each individual. She is also a certified provider of Invisalign and Clear Aligner treatments.
In her practice, she treats children with both primary and permanent dentition, as well as adults — whose cases often require close collaboration with specialists from other fields of dentistry. She is particularly fascinated by the biomechanics of tooth movement, which is why she frequently turns to skeletal anchorage and microimplants — non-invasive solutions that can address even the most complex bite problems.
Outside the clinic, she is a keen tennis player and runner. She speaks fluent English.
